Our Partnerships

Beverly Hills Community Farm is promoting sustainability, environmental stewardship and population health by creating an educational urban farm that provides access to local food for the community, its residents and restaurants, while promoting food security and justice.

We will accomplish this through the four key pillars that ground us -- education, community, local food and sustainability.

  • Bandini Foundation

BHCF is going to be partnering with The Bandini Foundation, The Heroes Community Garden and The Heroes Golf Course located at the Veteran Center in West Los Angeles to house our shipping container farm! The farm is in the final stage of manufacturing and will be here in the next four to six weeks.

In addition to housing our container, Farmer Jen and BHCF will also be helping in the community garden space, allowing for more educational opportunities to both the veteran’s community as well as the BHCF community. The space is incredible and we feel so lucky to have this opportunity for growth and expansion in such a perfect location.

  • Chai Village LA

ChaiVillageLA is part of the rapidly growing Village Movement--it's not a place; it's a virtual community led by older adults who share their optimism, skills, support and expertise with each other to navigate the challenges and opportunities of aging.

Many of their members have already toured our hydroponic farm space and Farmer Jen has presented at both their annual anniversary party and shabbat services. Moving forward, our plan is to partner with members and offer farming education and sustainable opportunities to this vibrant community in Los Angeles.

  • SBCC

SBCC, Strength Based Community Change, and their “I Heart Farming” movement. is a neighborhood-based cooperative created to introduce local residents, children, and families to green and environmentally conscious eating, gardening, and planting practices.

They have an amazing community garden at their Wilmington location and we are so pleased to work with them on adding hydroponics to their already incredible space. In addition to having a hydroponic tower, Farmer Jen is going to teach classes and offer assistance to anyone in their community who wants to learn more about hydroponics and outdoor farming.
